When you are unsure about the right course of action for your recovery, you can get a second opinion from a health professional to help you better understand your diagnosis and determine the most appropriate treatment plan.

+ Why should I get a second opinion?

If you are facing a complex medical issue or difficult treatment plan, having a second opinion can provide you with valuable advice, confidence and peace of mind, helping you make the most informed decision.

+ Can somebody else ask for a second opinion for me?

Your doctor, family members or carers are all able to ask for a second opinion about your health as long as they have your consent and all the information about your current condition, diagnosis, medication and treatment plan.

+ How do I send my medical reports and documents?

These will all need to be digitalised and uploaded on to our heart health portal at www.hearthealth.org.uk by setting up an account.

+ How long will it take for me to receive my medical report?

The report will be produced within 7 days of receiving all the medical information and records and once payment has been made.

+ How will I get my second opinion report?

You can decide the medium through you want to receive your report i.e. by email, post or face-to-face consultation.

+ How much does a second opinion cost?

The cost depends on the type of condition, analysis and investigations required
